Virgil Ray "Buddy" and Ruth Ann Baker celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 26. Buddy and the former Ruth Ann Jones were married Jan. 26, 1963 by the Rev. Walter Duncan at Garvin Ridge in Olive Hill.
They celebrated with a dinner at the Carter Caves Lodge with their daughter, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters. They are the parents of the late Carole Jean Baker-Craft and Debbie Porter. Granddaughters are Carlyn Craft and Cara Dixon. Great-granddaughters are Taylor Maschke and Presley Dixon.
