April 26, 2012 — A Grayson couple has been charged with first degree criminal abuse after their child was found naked in the street.
James Craig, 41, and Christina Craig,27, of 4th Street, were arrested Thursday afternoon.
According to the Grayson Police Department, a 2-year-old child was picked up after being found in the street by a passing motorist. The child’s parents were found just after 11 a.m. and claimed they had been searching for the child for approximately 20 minutes.
Both parents are currently being held in the Carter County Detention Center. The child was turned over to family members.
