A Carter County Detention Center inmate died over the weekend from head injuries sustained during a "reported" altercation April 20 with another prisoner at the jail.
A family friend identified the victim as Rigoberto Jacome (Emanuel Reyes), who passed away Sunday night in King’s Daughters Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit.
