Feb. 28, 2007 — The boys and girls teams from East Carter scored a sweep over Morgan County in Tuesday night’s opening-round of this week’s 62nd District Tournament. With the wins, both clubs from Grayson advance to the tournament’s championship games.
Brandon Baker’s Raiders rallied for a 52-50 overtime win and will battle No. 1 seed Elliott County in Friday’s boys’ final. Tip is set for 7 p.m.
