March 3, 2007 — 16th Region Basketball will begin Monday, March 5, at Morehead State University’s Ellis T. Johnson Arena.
The lineup was announced Saturday morning, March 3.
GIRLS
• Monday: 6:30 p.m. – Rose Hill (14-9, defending champion) vs Fleming County (12-17)
2nd game – Raceland (17-9) vs East Carter (20-9)
• Tuesday: 6:30 p.m. – Rowan County (18-11 vs Russell (25-5)
2nd game – West Carter (19-8) vs Ashland (16-13)
• Friday: Girls semifinals will be played at 6:30 and 8:15 p.m.
• Saturday, March 10: Championship game – 8 p.m.
BOYS
• Wednesday: 6:30 p.m. – Ashland (20-10) vs Lewis County (8-19)
2nd game - Rowan County (16-13) vs East Carter (12-15)
• Thursday: 6:30 p.m. – Russell (26-4, defending champion) vs Bath County (11-17)
2nd game – Elliott County (21-6) vs Boyd County (15-13)
• Saturday: Boys semifinals will be played at noon and 1:45 p.m.
• Monday, March 12: Championship game – 7 p.m.
