James and Melissa Holbrook of Olive Hill are thrilled to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miranda Danielle Holbrook to Gabriel Kalem Lewis, son of Sidnie and Janie Lewis of Elliott County.
The groom-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Elliott County High School and a 2011 graduate of Maysville Community and Technical College. He is a Union Carpenter for Ashland Local 472 and is currently working at East Kentucky Power Cooperative in Maysville. He is the grandson of Myrtle and Clyde Lewis of Elliott County and Dallas and Vanessa Fannin, also of Elliott County.
The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of West Carter High School and is currently attending Morehead State University pursuing a Bacheloret degree in health promotion. Upon graduation she plans to further her education by obtaining a degree in dietetics from Marshall University. She is the granddaughter of the late Richard “Bud” Holbrook and Patricia Stone of Olive Hill and the late Wayne and Anna Reeves also of Olive Hill.
The couple will wed on Oct 12, 2013.
