April 4, 2012 —
The Lady Knights volleyball program picked up another future player for its squad last Tuesday. Head volleyball coach Bruce Dixon took the drive to Liberty to sign Leann King, a 5’9” front row hitter for Casey County High School.
Dixon expressed excitement over the signing of his new recruit.
“She is a player that has solid volleyball skills and her intangibles are extremely evident,” Dixon said. “Her ability to mesh with the team we already have at KCU and the way she gives maximum effort within her role on the team is an exciting facet for me. I am very pleased to have a player like Leann join our program.”
You can catch King and her Lady Knights teammates when they take the court this fall for the 2012 volleyball season.
