The Lady Knights volleyball team split the season’s final two home games, losing 0-3 Friday on senior night to Cincinnati Christian University, before rebounding Saturday with a 3-1 win over Midway College.
KCU recognized four seniors prior to Friday’s game.
Abby Evans, Ally Hall, April Hershauer and Samantha Jarvis were honored for their play at KCU.
Kentucky Christian University wrapped up the regular season with a regional championship and an overall mark of 29-9.
The Lady Knights will carry their Mideast Region Championship into the 2011 Division II National Championship Tournament.
The tournament will be played in Kissimmee, Fla. beginning Thursday.

Adams signs to play volleyball at KCU
The Rowan County volleyball program has seen its share of stars move on to the college level and now they can add one more to that list. Senior outside hitter Shelby Adams will play college volleyball at Kentucky Christian University after signing her letter of intent last Tuesday at a ceremony at Rowan County Senior High School.
