The East Carter Tennis Team Boosters Club would like to thank the following sponsors for making this year‚s Grayson Summer Classic Tennis Tournament on our new set of 4 courts a success: Baker‚s Septic Service for the use of their port-a-potties. For their monetary donations we want to thank Kentucky Automotive Center of Grayson, First National Bank, Commercial Bank, WUGO, McDonalds, Grayson RECC, and Cash Exchange. The money raised will help pay for equipment, tournament entry fees, and the season ending awards banquet.

Editor,
Hi, my name is Twanita Cooper and I’m the team captain of “Charlie’s Angels” Relay for Life team. On behalf of our team and my husband, Charlie, who’s a leukemia survivor and the reason we have the team, we would like to thank each one for their support throughout the year.
Charlie is my hero, and for those of you that came out on the night of the Relay (June 20, 2008), you got to hear his wonderful voice sing “The National Anthem”. We appreciate The American Cancer Society who is working so hard everyday to find a cure, and part of their efforts are made possible through funds raised at Relay.
I would like to take this time to thank the following businesses for the donations made to our team to help make our fundraiser that night a wonderful success. Thanks to Olive Hill Slone’s Market, Bluegrass Express and Olive Hill Dairy Queen and to each one that helped at our campsite that night. And, a special thanks goes to Globe Funeral Chapel.
Thanks so much,
Twanita Cooper
