Consider situation of constables

Nov. 21, 2012 — The editor:

Everyone thinks our constables get no pay. They work for free, furnish their own car and gas, and we have deputies that work for Sheriff Brammell that have no training or schooling. Why is that not given attention? The first law officers were constables. Let's think, folks, if it comes to vote. We know the way to vote. Thanks, constables, for your good work. Keep it going.
