Five indicted by a Carter grand jury

Sept. 9, 2009 — A Carter County Grand Jury handed down indictments against five individuals on Friday, August 28.

Those indicted include:

¥ George Adams, 24, of Highway 286, Webbville, was indicted on one count of second-degree assault by assaulting Cody Jordon with his fist and causing serious physical injury, a Class C felony.

¥ Terry Carter, 35, of Backwith Lane, Grayson, was indicted on one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon by possessing a handgun while having a prior felony conviction, a Class D felony.

¥ Jessica Bryant, 22, of Jessica Lane, Olive Hill, was indicted on one count of first-degree burglary when she burglarized the residence of Tracy Burchett while being armed with a pistol, a Class B felony.

¥ Natasha Parson, 20, Fox Hunter Road, Olive Hill, and Justin Crider, 25, of Highway 986, Olive Hill, were each indicted on one count of third-degree burglary when they burglarized an out building belonging to Chelsa Fox, a Class D felony.

An indictment does not prove guilt.
