Fiscal court receives 11 bids on Lower Grassy bridge project
Jan. 20, 2010 — Carter County Fiscal Court made a motion this past week to accept 11 bids for construction of a new Lower Grassy bridge.
Carter County Judge Executive said all bids would be reviewed by Engineer Phillip Kees and discussed later at a special called meeting.
“Phillip will get back with us concerning his recommendations,” Wallace told the court. “It could take a couple of weeks for him to look over all the bids, but when he decides which company would be the best choice, that company will be notified that they have won the bid.”
The 11 bids include:
