A Carter County Grand Jury indicted four people Jan. 4 on drug related charges.
The indictments were handed down when the grand jury heard testimony from an Attorney General investigator.
Indicted were:
Justin Evans, 24, of Grayson, was indicted on one count of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class C felony. Evans allegedly sold 10 dosage units of oxycodone, a Schedule II narcotic.
Charles E. Cooley, 35, of Olive Hill, was indicted on one count of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class D. felony. Cooley allegedly sold two dosage units of oxycodone, a Schedule II narcotic.
Wendell Taylor, 34, of Columbus, Ohio, was indicted on one count of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class D. felony. Taylor allegedly sold 312 mg of heroin, a Scheduled II controlled substance.
Roy E. Litteral, Jr., 31, of Columbus, Ohio, was indicted on one count of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class D. felony. Litteral allegedly sold eight dosage units of heroin, a Scheduled II narcotic.
The indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
