NEW YORK – Frances L. Fairweather, a life long resident of Middletown, New York died in her home Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010 of Webbville, Kentucky. She was 94._Frances was born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 9, 1915, the daughter of the late Frank and Cora Berry Goddard. She was the widow of Adley Fairweather._Frances was a member of the First Baptist Church, Middletown, the Daughters of America and the_Goddard Association of America._She is survived by three sons Richard Fairweather and James Fairweather of Middletown, Ralph Fairweather of Texas, 2 daughters Dorothy Weeden of Hudson, FL and Sally Smith of Webbville,Kentucky., 25 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren._She was predeceased by her son Edward Fairweather, daughter Bernice Oleyniczak and 4 grandchildren._Friends are invited to call on Saturday February 6th from 7-9 PM and on Sunday February 7th from 2 - 4 PM at Morse Funeral Home Inc, 33 Railroad Ave, Middletown, NY 845-343-6918

OLIVE HILL – Edward Christian Bruestle, age 90, of Greenbriar Road, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010, at his residence.
Born March 21, 1919, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Christian W. and Fannie Thatsher Bruestle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lenora M. Bruestle, in 1973, and his second wife, Leona Bruestle, in 1998.
Edward is survived by two sons, Randall Bruestle of Lakeland, Florida, and Michael Bruestle of Shelbyville, Kentucky; three step sons, David Starker of Las Vegas, Nevada, Donald Starker of Dillsboro, Indiana, and Daniel Starker of Aurora, Indiana; three step daughters, Sharon Adams of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Lavonne Wilson of Middletown, Ohio, and Joan Franks of Carrollton, Kentucky; several cousins; and caregiver, Louise Evans of Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Edward was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II and a retired plumber and pipefitter for Local 392 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010, at St. John’s Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the Rev. Darrell Stelter officiating.
Visitation is after 7 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.

Christy Michelle Johnston, age 31, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 3, 2010, at the Saint Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
Ms. Johnston was born June 7, 1978, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of William Gene Binion of Olive Hill, Kentucky and the late Wanda Lee Johnston.
Christy was a homemaker, loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She attended the Mills Branch Apostolic Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
In addition to her father, she is survived by two daughters, Lauren Ray Johnson and Veronica Leann Burchett both of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two brothers, Douglas D. Johnston and Farren Ray Johnston both of Olive Hill, Kentucky. She also leaves behind many other family members, neighbors and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010, at the Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Marcus McCleese officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery on Chapel Ridge in Olive Hill, Kentucky.

Hollie Estel Rogers, 81, of Pedro, passed away Tuesday (February 2, 2010) at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Denton, Kentucky native was born August 29, 1928, the son of the late John H. and Connie Cunningham Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Eula Carroll Rogers, whom he married September 24, 1949.
Mr. Rogers attended Decatur School and he retired in 1988 after 30 years of service from the State of Ohio Transportation Department. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, square dancing and landscaping and was of the Baptist faith.

Phillip Bush, 53 of Grayson , died Monday, February 1 at his residence.He was born November 28, 1956 in Dayton, OH. ,the son of Charles Phillip and the late Faye Hicks Bush . He was a Boilermaker with Local 40 ,Elizabethtown,KY. and was employed with Soundwave Productions of Grayson as a production engineer.
In addition to his father,he is survived by his sister, Sherry Lynn Bush of Grayson, his aunt, Ann Felty of Lost Creek in Greenup Co.,his uncle, James Edward Bush of Wurtland, and several cousins.

John Alford Cooper, age 67, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday evening, February 4, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Cooper was born April 4, 1942, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late John Quincy and Eunice Frazier Cooper.
John was a retired heavy equipment construction worker and attended the Iron Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He served his country during the Vietnam Conflict with the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Cooper, Joe Cooper and James Cooper; two sisters, Betty Newman and Velma Bowling.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Sandra Lee Parker Cooper; a son and daughter-in-law, Jamie Lee and Angela Cooper of Olive Hill, Kentucky; a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Michael Boaz of Lexington, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Jonathen Cooper, Joseph Cooper, Bethany Cooper, Briana Boaz and Madison Boaz; two sisters, Rosie Staggs of Carter City, Kentucky and Ruby Cooper of Olive Hill, Kentucky. He also leaves several other extended family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Bess Burton Colley, 92 of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Grayson, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Markey Cancer Center. She was a widow of Everett Colley. Bess was one of two daughters of Walter and Eva McCleese Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Pauline. Bess was a member of the First Church of Christ in Grayson. She worked at Rupert’s Department Store, as a receptionist for Dr. Robert Wassum and at Tots n Teens with her sister Pauline. She is survived by her son Franklin (of Lexington), his wife Alice, two grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home by Tim Nischan, Minister. Burial will be in the Kiser-McGinnis Cemetery in Iron Hill. Madge Whitt Lambert, age 77, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 4, 2010, at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Mrs. Lambert was born June 18, 1932, in Elliott County, Kentucky, a daughter of late Bill and Edra Barker Whitt.
Madge was a former employee of Saint Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Haney; a sister, Margaret Franklin.
She is survived by one daughters, Ruth Ann Sloas of Paintsville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, J. J. Townsend, Tommy Thompson, Billie Jean Sloas and Johnny Cam Sloas; three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Laila and Braxton; a brother, J. C. Whitt of Winchester, Kentucky. She also leaves behind several other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.

He was born August 6, 1961, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is the son of Roger L. and Wilma Faye DeHart Trent of Morehead, Kentucky.In addition to his parents, Kendall is survived by two sons, Kendall Ray Trent, Jr., and Kadin Ray Trent, both of Morehead, Kentucky; two brothers, Wendall Trent of Morehead, Kentucky, and R. L. Trent of Lexington, Kentucky; two nephews, Jeremy Kidd of Farmers, Kentucky, and Wyatt Logan Trent of Lexington, Kentucky; one niece, Whitlee Elizabeth Trent of Morehead, Kentucky; one great nephew, Lance Kidd; two great nieces, Alana Kay and Alexa Marie Kidd; one uncle; three aunts; and several cousins.
Kendall was preceded in death by his twin sister, Karen K. Trent Kidd, on April 26, 2005; paternal grandparents, Wyatt and Myrtle Caudill Trent; maternal grandparents, Ora V. and Vada Johnson DeHart; one uncle; three aunts; and two cousins.
Kendall had formerly owned stores in Soldier and Elliottville. He was a member of Morehead Masonic Lodge No. 654 and Morehead York Rite.Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Michael Joseph Vuletich, age 105, of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, formerly of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away, Saturday evening, February 6, 2010, at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Mount Sterling, Kentucky.
He was born June 15, 1904, in Rankin, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Samuel and Mary Volrich.
Michael was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Mount Sterling and was retired from the Chrysler Corporation as a welder inspector.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his third wife Mildred Sivilsky Volrich and by his fourth wife of fourteen years, Nannie Elizabeth Estes Volrich.
He is survived by four sons, Donald Volrich of Michigan, Wilbert Stocker of Texas, James Stocker of Arizona and William Stocker of Ohio; four daughters, Margene Olson of Michigan, Martha Collins and Mary Elizabeth Bryant both of Mount Sterling, Kentucky and Hazel Ponchot, of Florida; eleven grandchildren, twenty two-great-grandchildren and three-great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by a special friend, Lucille Wade of Gilmer, Texas.

She was born February 26, 1960, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Glenn and Stella Bernice Roar Bledsoe Noble.
Tammy was a loving mother and a homemaker.

David Price, age 47, of South Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away, Monday afternoon, February 8, 2010, at the residence of his sister.
He was born April 13, 1962, in Scioto County, Ohio, a son of the late Carl and Norma Fraley Price.
David was a Christian and attended the Cedar Street Baptist Church in New Boston, Ohio. He was a former employee of the Village of New Boston as a janitor.
He is survived his sister, Tina Leslie of South Portsmouth, Kentucky.
