Knights finish week one with third win
The men's basketball program at Kentucky Christian swept the first three games of the 09-10 season with a convincing 67-42 victory over Clark State Community College.
KCU junior guard Eric McKee scored the first 8 points of the game as the Knights dominated the first half 32-21. Defense was key again, forcing 17 turnovers from Clark State, and limiting them to 33% shooting from the field.
KCU was led in scoring by Casey Jones with 20 points, and Eric McKee with 18 points.
The Knights finish the first week with a 3-0 record, while giving up only 58 points per game, and causing 51 turnovers on the defensive end.
KCU opens up at home this week during the Super 8 Classic, Thursday Nov. 12.
