Wanda Lois Frazier McGlone

Feb. 22, 2012 — Mrs. Wanda Lois Frazier McGlone, 67, of Jordan Fork, Olive Hill, passed away Tuesday evening, February 21, 2012, at her residence.

She was born March 6, 1944, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Roland "Toot" Frazier and the late Cova Stamper Frazier Garvin.

Lois was a member of the Kibbey Chapel Christian Holiness Church and was retired from the Carter County School System where she worked as a contract bus carrier. She loved going to church and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Marvin Lee McGlone; one infant great grandchild and her stepfather, Earnest Garvin.

Lois is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lewis Spencer McGlone; two sons, Billy Roland McGlone and Martin McGlone, both of Olive Hill; four daughters, Sheila Pam McGlone, Patricia McGlone, Carolyn Mollett and Tammie Phillips, all of Olive Hill; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Jo Jessie and Garnet Sue Porter, both of Olive Hill; stepmother, Maryetta Frazier of Grayson and a life-long dedicated friend, Susan McCormick Kelley. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 24, at the Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill, with Brother Rob Puckett and Brother Eddie Porter officiating. Burial followed in the Bethel Cemetery on Route 2 in Olive Hill.

Friends visited from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, February 23 and until the service hour on Friday at the Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill.

John Lewis McGlone, Paul Spencer Phillips, Trent Henderson, David Jessie, Steven Porter and Eugene Dean served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Marty McGlone, Billy McGlone, Justin McGlone, Jake McGlone, Levi McGlone, Dominick Dean and Mike Dean.
