Mr. Douglas Lee Howell, age 64, of Maysville, passed away Sunday morning, April 29, 2012, in the Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg. He was born May 6, 1947, in Mason County, a son of the late William and Elsie Percell Howell. Douglas proudly served his country in the Unites States Army. He was of the Catholic faith and was a lifelong farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Howell and Lewis Howell; one half brother, Bobby Howell; and one sister, Katherine Fryman. Douglas is survived by his son, Brian Howell of Tollesboro; three brothers, Calvin Howell, Raymond Howell, and Russell Howell, all of Maysville; and one sister, Louise Ginn of Maysville.
At Mr. Howell’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. Interment will be in the Sardis Cemetery in Maysville, at a later date.
Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Camp Dix, is in charge of all arrangements.
