07/03/2012 — Leland Winford Wells, 67, of Rush, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 15, 1944 at Rush, a son of the late Truman and Thelma Thompson Wells.
Leland was a retired Electrician with C.W. Electric.
His survivors include three sons, Gary (Trayci) Wells of Rush, Johnathan (Bethany) Wells of Dade City, Florida and Christopher Wells of Ashland; two sisters, Aloma Wilburn of Coalton and Adele Holley of Rush; one brother, Lyle “Corky” Wells of Rush and Nine grandchildren, Summer Wells, Savannah Wells, Ryan Wells, James Herring, Stevie Leathers, Adam Wells, Alison Wells, Adalyn Wells and Josephine Wells.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Joed Rice, officiating. Burial will be in the Thompson-Wells Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 5 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday after 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
