02/15/13 — Bethel Ann Meade Menix, 69, of Olive Hill, died Thursday morning, Feb. 14, 2013, at her daughter’s residence.
Mrs. Menix was born Aug. 27, 1943, in Olive Hill, a daughter of the late Jim Meade and Hattie Greenhill Meade.
She was a member of Glory Hill Community Church, a homemaker and a loving mother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Van R. Menix in 2000; three brothers, Joe Meade, Lloyd Meade and Louie Meade; and two sisters, Marie Branham and Irene Bunch.
She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Reynolds and Linda Lou Withrow, both of Olive Hill; one sister, Pauline Holbrook of Grahn; one brother, Norman Meade of Grayson; and three grandchildren, Derek and Bryan Reynolds and Tiffany (Nicholas) Hicks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson with Carlos Newman officiating. Burial will follow at the Menix Family Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
