Feb. 13, 2012 — Mr. Lanneau George Jordan, 63, of Conway, South Carolina, formerly of Olive Hill, passed away Wednesday morning, February 8, 2012, at Conway Medical Center in Conway, South Carolina.
He was born December 13, 1948, in Conway, South Carolina, a son of Jack Jordan of Surfside, South Carolina, and the late Almona Johnson Zyjewski.
Lanneau was a member of the Highpoint Baptist Church in Surfside and was a retired salesman. He was an avid fisherman and loved watching NASCAR and football.
In addition to his father, Lanneau is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Valerie Jordan of Dalzell, South Carolina; two daughters, Melissa Jordan and Brandy Janelle Jordan of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two grandchildren, Tristan Jordan and Loren Jordan; one twin brother, Larue Jordan of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; the mother of his children, Brenda Kahl of Olive Hill; and his pet dog and companion, Cotton. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 12, at the P’Simer Cemetery in Olive Hill, with Brother Terry Dean officiating.
Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, was in charge of all arrangements.
