Judge-executive drops jail bombshell
Carter Judge-Executive Charles Wallace unleashed a firestorm of controversy at Tuesday’s meeting of Carter Fiscal Court. Wallace brought forth county ordinances 202 and 203, both of which could have serious ramifications on the operation of the Carter County Detention Center, as well as the office of county jailer.

Lady Raiders rain runs on senior night
It is tough to say goodbye, but the process is a little easier when you do it with style. Last Friday night, the East Carter Lady Raiders made mincemeat of a visiting Pike County Central squad, winning both games of a doubleheader by the scores of 10-0 and 12-1.
